Overview
Welcome to Body Glue. References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Body Glue, an Australian sole trader operating bodyglue.com.au. We sell and ship roll-on body adhesive products through our Shopify-powered online store (the “Store”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Store and any purchase you make from us. By visiting or purchasing from the Store, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Store.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) or other applicable law. If there is any inconsistency, the law prevails.
1. Your Account and Access
By using the Store you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have a parent or guardian’s permission to use it.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Please let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
2. Our Products
We do our best to describe and display our products accurately, but colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device settings. Product images are for illustration purposes.
We reserve the right to change product descriptions, discontinue products, or limit quantities at any time without notice.
3. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is not accepted until we send you an order confirmation. We may decline any order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
Please review your order carefully before submitting. Once an order is accepted we may not be able to cancel or change it, so contact us promptly at service@bodyglue.com.au if you need to make a change.
Your rights to return or exchange products are set out in our Refund Policy and, where applicable, the Australian Consumer Law — see Section 8 below.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
Prices may change without notice, but the price charged will be the price shown when you place your order.
You confirm that the payment details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method. Shopify’s payment processing applies to all transactions.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Once we hand your order to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
6. Your Consumer Rights (Australian Consumer Law)
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy you have under the ACL. Our Refund Policy operates alongside — not instead of — your statutory rights.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Store — including text, images, product descriptions, logos and branding — belongs to Body Glue or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content without our written permission, except as permitted by law.
Shopify’s name, logo and trademarks are owned by Shopify Inc. and are used under licence.
8. Refunds and Returns
Please see our Refund Policy [https://bodyglue.com.au/policies/refund-policy] for full details. In summary:
• If a product is faulty or doesn’t match its description, you have rights under the ACL regardless of our policy.
• Change-of-mind returns are handled at our discretion in line with our Refund Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Store or our products is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic losses (such as lost profits or data) except where required by the ACL or other applicable law.
We do not limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Store may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools (including Shopify’s platform). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of third parties. Use of third-party sites and tools is at your own risk.
11. Shopify
Our Store is powered by Shopify. Your purchases are made directly with Body Glue — not with Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your purchases, including any loss or damage from products you buy from us.
12. Feedback and Reviews
If you send us feedback, reviews or suggestions, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content to operate and improve the Store. We won’t use your feedback in a misleading way or attribute it to you without your consent.
13. Prohibited Uses
You must only use the Store for lawful purposes. You must not:
• Use the Store to harass, deceive or harm others.
• Attempt to interfere with, hack or scrape the Store.
• Use automated tools or AI agents to interact with the Store without our consent.
• Resell or commercially exploit our products or content without permission.
We may suspend your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these rules.
14. Automated Agents
If you use any software or automated tool to access or interact with the Store, it must identify itself as an automated agent in its HTTP request headers and must not impersonate human behaviour or bypass any security measures we use.
15. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy [https://bodyglue.com.au/policies/privacy-policy], the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and protect your information.
16. Errors and Changes
If we notice a pricing error, inaccuracy or omission on the Store, we reserve the right to correct it — even after an order is placed. We’ll contact you if this affects your order. We may update the Store and these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via the Store.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
If you are located outside Australia, local laws may also apply to your purchase.
18. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continue to apply. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our rights. These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy) form the entire agreement between us about your use of the Store.
